The Women's Alliance wants 2 a thorough reevaluation of women's work in which the pedagogic, ser- vice and care factors of traditional women's jobs are given due recogni- tion, 2 working experience in the homes to be evaluated equally with work- ing experience on the job market, 2 to raise the lowest salaries so that they meet the cost of living and raise other salaries by kronur in stead of percentages, 2 to abolish incentive wage systems which are detrimential to health, 2 to shorten the working week without cutting salaries, and to intro- duce flexible working hours, 2 maternity leave to be lenghtened to 6 months and steps taken to lengthen it even further. Housewives must be ensured full maternity leave, 2 to ensure job security for parents who wish to stay at home to look after young children. 5
