Born August 9,1925. Studied art for two years at the Reykjavík College of Handicraft and Paint- ing, then attended the Rostrup Boyesen art school in Copenhagen for two years, after which he spent one year in Paris. He has made study trips to Scan- dinavia, England, France, Holland and Spain. Has participated in exhibitions in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Moscow and Rome. Some of his works are also on show in the private collection of Mrs. Ger- trud A. Mellon and the Art Service, Museum of Modern Art, New York. 6. Strönd 1965 The coast 7.
