Heimaklettur í sólskini The rock in sunshine 1954 Born July 31, 1889. Studied art at the Royal Academy, Copenhagen, 1912-1917 and then at the FrescoSchool 1927-1931. Has alsomade studytrips to Germany and Italy. She has lived longest in Den- mark, where she has had regular exhibitions at Charlottenborg since 1921 and been a member of kammeraterne since 1960. As well as taking part in exhibitions in many other countries, she has been awarded prizes and her art has been much appreci- ated in Denmark. She has, in addition to her paint- ing, studied mosaic and artistic weaving. Her works are, for instance, on show at the National Art Mu- seum and the Kunstindustrimuseet in Copenhagen.
