The Women's Alliance wants 2 the government to ensure allocations so that legislation concerning the aged can be properly implemented, 9 social security payments which can adequately support the indi- vidual and are not reduced even if the spouse also receives social se- curity, 2 social security recipients to retain their maintenance payments even though they have entered a rest home, 2 retirement rights to be undiminished even if workers shorten their working hours after the age of 60, 2 the interaction of the social and health care services to be improved, 2 the immediate building of appropriate housing for the aged, 2 old people living in private housing to be ensured home care services and regular, physical checks at health care centers, 2 information concerning the legal rights of the aged to be made more public and health care education for the aged increased, 2 action to be taken to prepare people for their retirement years, 2 employment appropriate for the aged to be made available. 33
