The Women's Alliance wants 9 a framework legislation for secondary schools and cost of schooling, 9 the development and shaping of school work to take place within the schools, 9 secondary schools to be accessible to all regardless of location, sex or financial situation, 9 to provide a wider range of possibilities especially for slow learners, $ to greatly increase school counselling and specialized assistance in secondary schools, 9 to enable those who must live far from home while studying to rent at a low price, 9 facilities for meals or snacks in every school, 9 distant learning or open university type courses available for all Icelanders as well as increased adult education. 17
